We’re just a three-piece fastcore punk band located in Barcelona (Catalonia) that started by the end of 2006 (but it really took form and started “working” on 2009).

Even we like fast, loud and short tunes every recording we made seemed to be a slow process, a long neverending nightmare that ends up taking ages (and according to some of our friends none of our recordings make any justice to our sound) so that answers why it took so many years to put out new recordings

As a result of spending so many years doing rehearsals at 11 PM during week-days, it happened naturally; We do not practice a lot, followed by periods where we don’t do it at all. But ended up accepting ourselves and the fact that most of the time we will suck at everything,

About playing live: We do follow that “only punk rule” of not playing longer than half an hour. It is not our concerts are cool or great, but we’ve been told they’re better and more entretaining than our recordings! So advice for comming (or not) to see us would be that best chances to see a decent Addenda show would be catching us in the middle of a tour, where we developed a strict schedule of have paper sheets with our translated lyrics, play 20 something songs almost in a row, and tell some shitty stories in the between.

We released 2 demos (2010 and 2011), a split tape (2014), a 7” (2016) and a 12” 4-way split (2018), counted like 140 concerts in 16 different countries and played with tons of bands. So it is a good big list of friends we made, lots of places we slept, farted, drink so many different beers, ask for tons of cigarettes, lost some other tons of things and forgot most of the stuff we did along the way.

Getting involved in DIY / Political movement also is what made us who we are, so we were not just consumers or artists in an “alternative scene” asking for our piece of cake… We feel so lucky we got all these chances to go to so many different places, and it didnt make us special as we still think every band could do this if doing things honestly.
So basically, don’t be assholes and take it easy with your shitty band because no one owes you nothing just because you play in a band. It’s not about practicing a lot, getting paid, having expensive gear, and for sure it’s not about singing in key! We think it’s still about feeling the excitement to have fun to share time with friends and being sincere.
